Strategy of City Development
Our city announced the city development strategy 2013-2017 which based on the Kyrgyz Republic’s strategy. Until today, our city did great effort to make our city to be better place for the citizens and visitors. Although most of our works succeeded, we need to develop to reach the high standard.
Here are the main points of out strategy.
1,Promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises
2,Promotoin of agriculture/farming industry and repair shops
3,Improvement of Infrastructure
4,Promotion of Tourism industry
5,Improvement of Social welfare
6,Protection of the environment
Detail are below.
•Promotion of Agriculture/farming industry and repair shops
We will invest 5milion som for this section. This project contains the establishment and maintenance of irrigation cannel to make new employment.
•Improvement of Infrastructure
We plan to develop transport system and will invest 500million som for whole infrastructure project.
•Promotion of Tourism industry
Tourism is the most important and characteristic industry in Cholpon-Ata. For the development of this industry, we need to make good tourism environment such us construction of the Tourism Complex for foreign tourists. For this project, we will invest 5million som.
•Improvement of Social welfare
City’s social welfare contains these elements; education, healthcare, working environment, the policy of the youth, sports and culture promotion.
Our education and healthcare system is not well organized. We need to reestablish these systems and also develop all aspects of social welfare.We plan to invest 100million som for this section.
•Protection of the environment
We always participate to protect Great nature of Lake Issyk-Kul and the first priority of this section is the reconstruction of drainage with 3millon som.We will invest 700million som for all of these projects.
To build roads in every part of the city is the the most important project for us, because connecting every district to the Great resort area promotes improvemt of tourism environment and social welfare.
Cholpon-Ata has the great opportunity to bring out foreign investment in the protection of environment sector and this is also one of the most important projects.
